Welcome to Shampooch

Shampooch provides a friendly professional mobile dog grooming service, ranging from a bath and blow dry to a full groom with clipping or scissor finishing – see our services page for more details.  

Our fully customised van includes all the comforts of a modern salon, including heating/air conditioning, state of the art Hydro-bath, dryers and a fully adjustable hydraulic grooming table to suit all sizes of dog.  We carry all water, shampoos and grooming equipment needed.

We provide a calm environment, grooming one dog at a time. If you are unable to get to a salon; your dog doesn’t like the hustle & bustle of a busy parlour with other dogs around or you just prefer a one to one service on your doorstep, give us a call. We are usually able to offer day time, early evening and weekend appointments to suit.

We come to your home and all grooming is carried out inside the van, no mess or disruption inside your house!  All we need is a safe place to park within 25 metres of a plug socket and your 4 legged friend of course!  If you are unable to offer a suitable close parking spot, please give us a call to discuss our collect & return service. We cover the area around Whitchurch (approximately a 15 mile radius) including town, village and rural locations.   

All grooming is carried out be me, Christine Richards.   I live in Whitchurch, Hampshire with my husband, son, dogs and a collection of other animals.  I was born and raised on a farm, surrounded by animals including gun dogs, sheepdogs and terriers.  My love of dogs introduced me to the world of dog agility, which I trained and competed in for 15 years.  Having lived and worked with dogs all my life a grooming profession is a labour of love and I promise to look after your pet whilst in my care!

I am City & Guilds trained with a Diploma in pet dog grooming gained at the Grooming Room near Farringdon in Oxfordshire (Training school for professional groomers).
